On saturday, 9 april Tom Bieling and Emine Yorganci are going to speak at the conference "Spectres of time in space – Tracing phantom temporalitites with architectural methodologies" at Cambridge University. Based on their project "Old City, new Futures", which deals with Epistemic Imagery in Architectural Research, they investigate the question of how architects can acknowledge various notions of "phantom" and how „spectrality“ and the uncanny transform our ways to materialize futures. As well as the question of how this addresses issues of memory and responsibility in urban development.
